Consumer hygiene habits favor toilet paper despite water-cleaning preference
A survey by Geberit indicates that while many people, including those in Slovakia, perceive water-based cleaning as being as hygienic as or more hygienic than toilet paper, the use of bidets and shower toilets remains uncommon in practice. Most consumers are accustomed to traditional toilet paper and have not yet integrated water-based hygiene into their daily routines.
Technological options such as the Geberit AquaClean aim to bridge this gap by combining a toilet with a cleaning function in a single unit. These devices utilize technologies like WhirlSpray for water jets and TurboFlush for efficient flushing to provide a more thorough cleaning experience without requiring significant changes to bathroom layouts.
