Consumer technology updates: Midea heat pumps and Penny retail offers

Various consumer electronics and household technology products are being highlighted, including new energy solutions and retail discounts in Germany.

Midea has announced the H-Pack, a monoblock heat pump scheduled for 2026. Designed to be installed entirely indoors, it eliminates the need for an external unit, addressing common installation hurdles such as noise complaints and space constraints. The system uses R290 refrigerant and can achieve an energy efficiency class of A+++.

Retailer Penny is offering several discounted items starting September 24. These include a Mebus wireless weather station for 7.99 Euro, a Technaxx TX-256 wildlife and surveillance camera with night vision for 29.99 Euro, and a Mebus LED galaxy and star projector in an astronaut design for 17.99 Euro.

Additionally, Sichler is promoting a USB-powered radiator fan designed to improve heat distribution in rooms through magnetic mounting and an integrated temperature sensor for automatic operation.
