Consumers’ Research accuses major companies of maintaining DEI practices

A report from the conservative advocacy group Consumers’ Research claims that several major corporations continue to implement diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practices despite recent political crackdowns.

The report identifies 7Eleven, Carhartt, DraftKings, Duluth Trading Co, Traeger, Bank of America, BlackRock, and Nike as companies that are still embracing these ideologies. Specific examples cited include 7Eleven’s public commitment to taking bold action regarding DEI and Carhartt’s internal organizational structure regarding workplace culture.

This comes following a 2025 executive order signed by President Trump aimed at ending DEI practices, which stated that such policies undermine national unity and violate civil rights laws. The order directed government agencies to combat illegal private-sector DEI mandates and preferences.
