Contships Logistics posts $20.3m profit, 98% utilisation in H1 2026

Contships Logistics reported its financial results for the second quarter and the first half of 2026. Revenue for the six‑month period was $84.9 million, with a net profit of $20.3 million and cash generated by vessel operations of $39.2 million. The fleet achieved an operational utilisation rate of 98%, and the average daily time‑charter rate (net of commissions) was $15,421.

During the first half of the year the company sold five feeder containerships, generating gross proceeds of $59 million. It also secured six new charter agreements with major shippers ZIM, CMA CGM, COSCO and Unifeeder, extending existing contracts and adding new vessels. The secured revenue backlog stood at $240.7 million, covering 4,854 operating days and representing 98% coverage for the second half of 2026. Cash and cash equivalents rose to $249 million, while bank debt was $12 million and outstanding bonds totalled $200 million. Shareholders’ equity reached $447.1 million.
