Container truck overturns on Jalan Latumenten in West Jakarta

A container truck overturned on Jalan Latumenten near the Jembatan Dua flyover descent in Tambora, West Jakarta, on Wednesday morning. The accident occurred when the driver, identified as Mastaka, lost control of the vehicle while traveling from north to south.

The truck veered to the right and struck a busway separator, causing the vehicle to overturn and damaging the road infrastructure. While the truck sustained significant front-end damage and the container was dented, no injuries or fatalities were reported.

The incident caused severe traffic congestion during the morning rush hour as the overturned truck blocked nearly the entire roadway. Authorities temporarily diverted traffic into the busway lanes, and emergency crews utilized a crane to evacuate the vehicle.
