Contax Netball Club wins back-to-back Reserves titles

In the Hospital Research Foundation Group Premier League Reserves division, Contax Netball Club secured back-to-back titles by defeating Matrics Netball Club in the Grand Final. Despite a strong start from Matrics, including a connection between Edie Berger and Elouise Nordhausen, Contax maintained control. A strong second half, bolstered by defensive pressure from Anna Goad and playmaking from Jazmine Noye, allowed the reigning premiers to extend their lead to 51-39.

In the VAFA Division 1 Women’s finals, Power House secured a Grand Final berth after a 47-33 victory over top-seeded Ormond. Lauren Boyle led the scoring for Power House with four goals. Ormond will now face Marcellin in a Preliminary Final.

Marcellin also advanced to the Preliminary Final following a 37-8 win over Monash Blues. Marcellin demonstrated a wide scoring spread, with five different players contributing goals to secure the 29-point victory.
