Contemporary dance performances scheduled for Switzerland and Spain

Several contemporary dance performances are scheduled for late 2026. In Lausanne, Switzerland, choreographer and performer Catol Teixeira will present ‘Baby Teeth’ at Théâtre Vidy on November 18 and 19. The work, a co-production with Vidy, features ten dancers and explores themes of language, bodily experience, and the transition from childhood through the metaphor of milk teeth.

In Spain, the Fundación Baluarte will open its 2026-27 season on October 6 with the Chinese company TAO Dance Theater. Founded by Tao Ye, the company will perform ‘13’ and ‘14’ from its Numerical Series at the Palacio de Congresos y Auditorio de Navarra Baluarte. The performance is part of the Encuentros de Pamplona/Iruñeko Topaketak 2026 programming and focuses on sensory experiences through abstraction, rhythm, and movement rather than traditional narrative.
