Content creators Soy Rosel and Urías Lobo to face trial in Honduras

Content creators Soy Rosel and Urías Lobo will face judicial proceedings for the alleged aggravated degrading treatment of a minor while remaining free under court-ordered restrictions. A judge in Danlí, El Paraíso, imposed substitute measures instead of imprisonment for the case involving the minor.

Soy Rosel is required to report to court once a month and will relocate to the Colón department. Urías Lobo must report once a month for one charge and every 15 days for another.

Separately, Lobo has been sentenced to six months in prison for a different matter involving false emergency calls to the 911 system. Prosecutors stated that Lobo made several calls simulating a heart attack, which authorities later verified through his TikTok live streams. While he awaits the resolution of the degrading treatment case, he must complete administrative procedures to finalize his release from prison regarding the 911 incident.
