Continental launches CrossContact A/T² all-season tires

Continental has expanded its all-terrain tire range with the introduction of the CrossContact A/T², an all-season tire designed for SUV, 4x4, and pick-up vehicle drivers. The product aims to balance reliable performance on asphalt with durability and traction on demanding off-road surfaces such as gravel, sand, mud, and uneven terrain.

To achieve this, the tire features an aggressive tread design with increased depth and deep grooves to improve grip on loose surfaces. The tread block geometry and reinforced edges are engineered to maintain stability off-road while ensuring predictable handling and reduced slipping on both wet and dry pavement during daily use.

Additionally, the CrossContact A/T² includes reinforced sidewalls and a strengthened shoulder area to protect against mechanical stresses and damage caused by rocks or other obstacles encountered during off-road driving. The tire also utilizes a specially developed rubber compound designed to maintain elasticity.
