Continental launches CrossContact A/T2 all-terrain tyre for Australia

Continental has launched the CrossContact A/T2, an all-terrain tyre developed primarily for the Australian market at the request of the company’s local division. The tyre is designed to provide a 50:50 balance between on-road and off-road performance, positioning it between traditional all-terrain tyres and hybrid rough-terrain (R/T) options.

Compared to the previous CrossContact AX6 model, the A/T2 offers 13 per cent more off-road traction and 10 per cent greater longevity. It maintains approximately 95 per cent of the AX6’s fuel efficiency while featuring 33.3 per cent thicker off-shoulder sidewalls and increased tread depth on the outer edge.
