Continental launches CrossContact A/T2 all-terrain tyres in Nepal and Philippines
Continental has launched its next-generation CrossContact A/T2 all-terrain tyres in Nepal and the Philippines. The new product line is designed for SUVs, 4x4 vehicles, and compatible electric SUVs.
In Nepal, the tyres are being distributed by Delta Distributors Pvt. Ltd. The CrossContact A/T2 features a tread design with increased depth, rigid blocks, and a high-void pattern to manage mud, water, and loose material. It is engineered to handle diverse terrains including gravel, sand, and rocky mountain routes while reducing stone retention.
In the Philippines, the launch highlights the tyre’s TractionPlus+ Technology and BlackPaw Compound, an advanced polymer system designed for grip in cold, wet, or dry environments. The tyres include reinforced sidewall protection to absorb impacts and prevent punctures. Continental noted the product is EV-ready, accounting for the higher weight and instant torque characteristic of electric off-road vehicles. The tyres are available in rim sizes ranging from 15 to 22 inches.
