Continente Shopping hosts free dinosaur exhibition

The Mundo Jurássico dinosaur exhibition is currently on display at Continente Shopping in Greater Florianópolis. The free event, which runs until August 18, features life-sized replicas of prehistoric creatures throughout the shopping center's corridors.

Key highlights include a 13-meter long Tyrannosaurus Rex and other species such as the Spinosaurus, Triceratops, Styracosaurus, Velociraptor, and Pterosaur. The replicas are constructed using steel skeletons, high-density foam, and silicone coating to provide a realistic experience.

Developed in collaboration with paleontologists and engineers, the exhibition aims to be both entertaining and educational by presenting facts about fossils and species evolution. While entry to the main exhibition is free, there is an optional paid interactive area and a souvenir shop available for visitors.
