Continuum Group issues US$450 million in GIFT City bonds
Continuum Group has completed a US$450 million international dual-series bond issuance through its GIFT City treasury centre, CGE Treasury IFSC Private Limited. The issuance consists of US$390 million in senior bonds due 2031 and US$60 million in senior fixed-to-floating bonds due 2034. The bonds are guaranteed by Continuum Green Energy Limited and are listed on NSE IFSC Limited and GIFT City IFSC.
The transaction included a concurrent any-and-all cash tender offer by Continuum Energy Aura Pte. Ltd. for its outstanding US$435 million senior secured notes due 2027, alongside a conditional redemption of those notes. The offering was conducted under Rule 144A and Regulation S, allowing participation from qualified institutional buyers in the United States and non-US investors.
This deal represents the first international bond issuance by CGE Treasury IFSC Private Limited and is among the earliest international issuances by a Global/Regional Corporate Treasury Centre-registered entity under the GIFT City IFSC framework. Continuum Green Energy is a major Indian renewable energy platform focused on utility-scale assets for commercial and industrial customers.
