Contour terminal emulator releases version 0.7 with workspace updates

Contour, a cross-platform terminal emulator built with C++ and Qt 6, has released version 0.7. This update introduces a significantly expanded workspace model featuring native GUI tabs and split panes. Users can now divide tabs vertically or horizontally to manage multiple terminal sessions side by side, with the ability to resize, swap, or zoom panes.

The release also includes configurable layouts, allowing users to save and reuse specific window configurations, including tab sets, commands, and pane arrangements. Additional features include a new command palette for searchable functionality, a graphical settings interface, and a terminal-oriented UI style that uses character cells for a unified appearance.
