Control Resonant features Dylan Faden in a paranormal Manhattan

Control Resonant is a sequel to the award-winning title Control, following Dylan Faden as he navigates a paranormal crisis in Manhattan. After being released from the Federal Bureau of Control (FBC), Dylan must combat cosmic entities, the Hiss, and the Mold that are reshaping reality.

The gameplay features an expansive, warped Manhattan with gravity anomalies and perception-bending environments. Players must master Dylan’s evolving paranatural abilities and progression systems to survive various threats.

A central mechanic involves the Aberrant, a versatile supernatural melee weapon that can take various forms, such as dual blades, hammers, or spears. Players can unlock and upgrade these forms by collecting Living Shards and accessing the upgrade interface within a dimension known as The Gap.
