Control Resonant set for September 24 release with customizable Assist Mode

Remedy has released new details regarding the upcoming release of Control Resonant, scheduled for September 24 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

A new trailer provides a narrative recap, bridging the gap between the original 2019 game and this sequel. The story follows Dylan Faden as he navigates paranormal threats in Manhattan while searching for his sister, Jesse Faden, following the events involving the Federal Bureau of Control and the Oldest House.

To enhance accessibility and gameplay customization, the title features an expanded Assist Mode. This system utilizes sliders to allow players to fine-tune specific combat mechanics, such as enemy aggression, projectile speed, dodge windows, and power recovery speeds. Players can also choose presets or utilize options like immortality and one-hit kills to tailor the experience to their preferred difficulty level.
