Convano to present AXON medical AI at Japanese medical conference
Convano Co., Ltd. has announced that its medical-specific AI agent system, AXON, will be featured in a sponsored seminar at the 18th Annual Meeting of the Japan Society of Medical and Health Sciences on October 4, 2026.
AXON utilizes generative AI and voice recognition technology to reduce the administrative workload of medical professionals. Key features include AXON Connect, which generates SOAP-format medical records and referral drafts from real-time clinical conversations; AXON Security for patient information management; and AXON atlas, which assists in medical literature research and guideline organization.
Neurosurgeon and Convano executive Shohei Nambu will present the system, addressing technical and implementation challenges such as medical terminology recognition accuracy, data security, and integration with existing electronic medical records. The system is designed to assist with documentation rather than replace physician diagnosis or treatment decisions.
