ConvenientMD patient locked in Keene urgent care clinic

A woman was left locked inside a ConvenientMD urgent care clinic in Keene, New Hampshire, after staff closed for the night on September 24.

Tia Chandler, who was at the facility to receive a steroid shot for an asthma attack, reported that employees vanished after administering her treatment. After realizing no staff members were present, Chandler attempted to open a door, which triggered an alarm, and eventually had to call 9-1-1 to be released from the building.

ConvenientMD issued a statement expressing sincere regret, noting that “clearly, this should never have happened.” The company stated they have taken steps to prevent a recurrence of the incident.
