Converge FiberXers reach first PBA semifinals after beating Rain or Shine

The Converge FiberXers secured their first semifinal berth in franchise history by defeating the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters, 120-109, in Game 4 of the PBA Season 50 Governors’ Cup quarterfinals. The victory gives Converge a 3-1 series win at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Import Cameron Clark led the scoring for Converge with 32 points, 12 rebounds, six assists, and four steals. Mikey Williams provided critical late-game scoring, hitting consecutive three-pointers in the final minutes to extend the lead and earn Player of the Game honors after finishing with 17 points and seven rebounds.

Rain or Shine was led by Aaron Fuller, who recorded 23 points and 10 rebounds, and Jhonard Clarito with 18 points. Despite a late push that brought the deficit to two points, the Elasto Painters could not overcome the FiberXers. Converge is scheduled to face the NLEX Road Warriors in a best-of-five semifinals series following a league break in December.
