Converge secures Green Lane status for Angeles Data Center

Converge ICT Solutions Inc., through its digital infrastructure arm Pentagon Digital Global Corp., has received a Green Lane Certificate of Endorsement from the Department of Trade and Industry – Board of Investments (DTI-BOI) for its Angeles Data Center in Pampanga.

Classified as a “Strategic Investment” under Executive Order No. 18, the 12-megawatt facility is designed to house Converge’s cloud infrastructure and support enterprise computing, cloud workloads, carrier-neutral co-location, and regional data storage. The Green Lane status provides expedited regulatory clearances, including simultaneous multi-agency permit processing and dedicated investment facilitation, to reduce time-to-market for the project.

Converge CEO and Co-Founder Dennis Anthony H. Uy stated that the designation helps eliminate regulatory friction to deploy compute capacity faster, serving as a digital foundation for the Philippine economy. The facility will be integrated into the company’s nationwide fiber-optic backbone.
