Converse launches SHAI 001 LACE UP signature shoe

Converse has released the SHAI 001 LACE UP, a new iteration of the signature basketball shoe designed by NBA star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. This version departs from the previous model by replacing the zipper closure with a traditional lace-up system and featuring a redesigned tongue.

The footwear is designed to bridge the gap between high-performance basketball technology and lifestyle streetwear. Technical features include a molded, structured upper and a Nike Zoom Air unit in the forefoot for energy return.

The release includes several colorways, such as ‘Lime Latte’ (yellow and grey), ‘Berry Shady’ (pink), and ‘Cheetah’ (featuring a leopard print padded tongue).
