Conviction 2026 tech conference launches in Ho Chi Minh City

Conviction 2026 will be held on 14‑15 August 2026 at the Thiskyhall conference centre in Ho Chi Minh City. Organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Electronic and Media Association together with the local blockchain sub‑forum and the Ninety Eight ecosystem, the two‑day forum is positioned as a dialogue between public authorities and the private sector, bringing together policymakers, financial institutions, investors, startups and the tech community to discuss blockchain, digital assets and AI applications.

The event coincides with recent Vietnamese regulatory developments: the Digital Technology Industry Law 71/2025 effective 1 January 2026, the government resolution 05/2025/NQ‑CP launching a five‑year pilot for crypto‑asset markets, and the Prime Minister’s Decision 21/2026 on strategic technology lists. A signing ceremony between the crypto‑exchange platform Sacom (SCEX) and IVY was held, aiming to build a transparent, compliant digital‑asset market infrastructure. Organisers stress the “Real World, Real Movement” theme, focusing on concrete value creation for enterprises.
