Conxemar Fest combines music and gastronomy in Vigo

The Conxemar Fest: Fish & Hits took place in Vigo, combining live music with gastronomic tastings to promote maritime products. The event served as a festive prelude to the upcoming Conxemar International Fair.

During the festival, Galician Minister of the Sea, Marta Villaverde, emphasized the importance of using music and food to engage younger generations with the fishing sector, describing it as an essential way to showcase maritime activities as modern and full of professional opportunities. The music competition featured five finalist acts: Grandío, Cora, El último ciclista, Os Carismáticos, and Noite Atari, competing for a total prize pool of 10,000 euros.

In Vigo, Mayor Abel Caballero participated in the festivities at Porta do Sol, where he joined officials in singing the popular song ‘Rianxeira’. Attendees also had access to various food trucks offering local culinary products.
