CookieYes partners with Cloudways to embed GDPR and CCPA consent tools

CookieYes, a global cookie‑consent provider headquartered in Milton Keynes, has become the exclusive consent‑management partner for Cloudways, the managed‑hosting platform owned by DigitalOcean. The integration places automated cookie scanning, geo‑targeted banners, consent logs and policy generators directly into the Cloudways dashboard, allowing WordPress sites to launch with GDPR‑ and CCPA‑ready consent mechanisms already in place.

Company leaders highlighted the benefit: CookieYes CEO Anvar T K said the partnership removes the need for a separate consent‑setup step after site construction, while Cloudways Director of Growth & Partnerships Aaqib Sayed noted that developers can now activate CookieYes from the hosting portal with a few clicks, speeding compliance and reducing regulatory risk.

The move comes amid heightened enforcement of privacy rules in Europe, where regulators issued over €1.1 billion in fines in 2025, and reflects a broader trend of embedding compliance tools at launch rather than as an afterthought.
