Cooking techniques for optimal baked sea bream

Culinary experts suggest specific timing techniques to improve the quality of baked sea bream. To ensure the fish remains juicy while the accompanying potatoes achieve a crispy texture, the fish should be added to the oven only during the final few minutes of cooking, once the potatoes are nearly finished.

Cooking the fish and potatoes simultaneously can lead to overcooked, dry fish because sea bream requires a much shorter cooking time than the garnishes. Following this method allows for the perfect balance between the moisture of the fish and the texture of the potatoes.
