Cooltural Fest 2026 projected to generate over €6 million for Almería
The Cooltural Fest 2026, scheduled for 21‑23 August at the Almería Fair Concert Hall, is expected to surpass the €5.8 million economic impact recorded in 2025. An external study by agency SFTL estimates the total impact—including tourism, local commerce and employment—will exceed €6 million. Nearly half of the festival’s visitors (49.1 %) are expected to come from outside the province, with another 29.4 % arriving from other Spanish regions, underscoring its growing national appeal.
The event is organized by Crash Music in partnership with Almería’s City Council cultural department, the provincial Diputación, and the Fundación Music For All. Diego Cruz, the municipal culture councillor, highlighted the festival’s role as a driver of economic innovation and social transformation. Free‑entry activities such as the welcome party on 20 August at Parque de las Almadrabillas and the closing concert on 29 August at La Faluca are also planned.
Support from local institutions and the festival’s consistent growth since its inception position Cooltural Fest as a key cultural and economic stimulus for the region.
