Cooperfrigu and Sistema FIETO host lecture on online gambling risks

In Gurupi, the Meat and Derivatives Producers Cooperative (Cooperfrigu), in partnership with Sistema FIETO (SESI/SENAI), held an educational lecture to raise awareness among employees regarding the risks of online gambling and virtual games.

The initiative aimed to alert workers to the financial losses and emotional distress associated with digital betting addiction. Experts from SESI and SENAI discussed the psychological mechanisms of dependency and the growth of online casino games in Brazil. The program also addressed how gambling-related debt can lead to anxiety, loss of focus, and decreased professional productivity.
