CooperVision launches MyDay Energys contact lenses

CooperVision has announced the rollout of MyDay Energys, a premium daily disposable contact lens, across the United Kingdom, Ireland, and the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). The product is designed to address the visual demands of modern lifestyles, particularly the increased time spent looking at digital screens.

The lens utilizes a combination of two technologies: ComfortBoost, which aims to help eyes maintain focus with less effort during visual tasks, and Aquaform Technology, which retains water within the lens material to provide natural wettability.

Clinical studies cited by the company indicate high user satisfaction. Compared to the standard MyDay portfolio, users reported higher comfort levels at the end of the day, with twice as many users preferring MyDay Energys due to reduced feelings of eye dryness.
