COOPMEDICA reports 20.9% asset growth in 2025 fiscal year

COOPMEDICA (Cooperativa Médica de Santiago de Servicios Múltiples INC.) held its 48th Ordinary Annual General Assembly, reporting significant financial growth for the 2025 fiscal year. The institution closed the period with net assets of RD$14,808.5 million, representing a 20.9% increase compared to the previous year.

The cooperative reached 71,394 active members and reported a net surplus of RD$453 million. Its credit portfolio stood at RD$12,396 million, with RD$6,882.9 million placed through 8,708 loans. Notably, women accounted for 68% of these loans, with 5,954 credits issued to females.

COOPMEDICA maintained a solvency index of 16.20%. This financial stability earned the institution an 'A' rating with 96 out of 100 points from the Association of Rural Savings and Credit Institutions (AIRAC).
