Cooprofar invests €15 million in Alcochete pharmaceutical logistics

The Cooprofar Group has invested €15 million to expand its pharmaceutical logistics platform in Alcochete, Portugal. The expansion adds 6,500 square meters of useful area and incorporates automation and robotics to enhance storage and distribution capabilities.

The upgraded facility is designed to support the group's supply chain to more than 1,100 pharmacies nationwide, specifically serving the Greater Lisbon and Southern regions. The infrastructure is being prepared for a future capacity of up to 13,500 pallets, utilizing new technologies for order preparation and stock management to increase operational efficiency.
