Cop de Rock musical returns to Barcelona's Coliseum

The Catalan rock musical ‘Cop de Rock’ returns to the stage at the Coliseum in Barcelona for a limited run from September 3 to September 6. Originally created by Dagoll Dagom, the production features a script by Joan Lluís Bozzo and draws from the musical icons of the 1990s and 2000s.

This new adaptation, produced by La Barca, follows the story of a musical group from Empordà and explores themes of romantic love, friendship, and second chances. The soundtrack includes hits from prominent Catalan rock bands such as Sopa de Cabra, Els Pets, Sau, Lax'n'Busto, and Glaucs.

The production is directed by Júlia Cervera Marsó and features a cast led by Jofre Bardolet and Elisabet Molet. Following successful runs in Vic, the musical aims to bridge generational gaps by connecting those who grew up with 90s rock with their adolescent children.
