Copa de la Liga semifinals shift to HBO Max in Chile
Four Chilean clubs – Ñublense, O'Higgins, Unión La Calera and Coquimbo Unido – will contest the semifinals of the inaugural Copa de la Liga. The two‑leg ties are scheduled for July 8‑9 (first legs) and July 12 (second legs), with the winners meeting in the final on July 18 at Estadio Elías Figueroa in Valparaíso. The champion secures a Chile 3 slot for the 2027 Copa Libertadores and qualification for the next year's Supercopa de Chile.
For the first time the semifinal matches will be broadcast exclusively on the streaming platform HBO Max, replacing the usual TNT Sports coverage. The change applies to both legs of each tie, while earlier group‑stage games were shown on television.
The semifinal pairings are Unión La Calera vs. Coquimbo Unido and Ñublense vs. O'Higgins, each playing home and away matches. The competition offers a new pathway to international club football for Chilean teams.
