Copa Diputación de Baloncesto to feature top Huelva clubs
The 2026 Copa Diputación de Baloncesto is set to begin this September, serving as a preseason testing ground for top basketball clubs in the province of Huelva. The tournament features seven major teams divided into two groups of four and three, respectively.
Key venues for the competition include Algeciras and La Línea. A notable matchup scheduled for September 6 in Algeciras will see CB Algeciras, recently promoted to Segunda FEB, face Sevilla’s Insolac Caja 87 from Primera FEB.
In La Línea, the tournament will feature a triangular competition in the Tercera FEB category involving Unión Linense de Baloncesto (ULB), Gymnástica Portuense, and CB San Fernando. The women’s competition will also include a single-match fixture between Xerez CD Baloncesto and Baloncesto Sevilla Femenino.
