The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) announced the officiating crews for the Copa do Brasil 2026 round‑of‑16 ties between Fluminense and Vasco da Gama. The first leg will be played on 1 August 2026 at the Maracanã, with Vasco hosting and Ramon Abatti Abel from Santa Catarina in charge of the match. The return leg is set for 5 August 2026, also at the Maracanã, with Fluminense as the home side and Wilton Pereira Sampaio from Goiás refereeing.

Both officials are FIFA‑listed and participated in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Abatti Abel oversaw group‑stage games involving Belgium vs Egypt and Switzerland vs Canada, while Sampaio refereed three World Cup matches: Mexico vs South Africa, Norway vs Senegal and the Netherlands vs Morocco round of 16.

The CBF released the details via its official channels, confirming the match dates, venues and times (17:30 for the first leg, 21:30 for the second).
