Copa do Brasil 2026 quarterfinal draw set for Aug 11

The Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (CBF) will hold the draw for the Copa do Brasil 2026 quarterfinals on Tuesday, 11 August, at 11:00 a.m. in its headquarters in Rio de Janeiro. The draw will determine the pairings and home‑away order for the eight clubs that advanced from the round of 16: Atlético‑MG, Santos, Cruzeiro, Grêmio, Vasco da Gama, Palmeiras, Internacional and Vitória.

The first‑leg matches are scheduled for 26 August, with the return legs on 3 September. The competition will conclude with a single‑match final on 6 December, venue to be announced by the CBF.

Commentators noted that a Grêmio vs Internacional (Gre‑Nal) knockout is unlikely, recalling that Inter has never lost a knockout encounter to Grêmio outside the state championship.
