CBF announces Round of 16 matchups for 2026 Copa do Brasil Feminina
The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) held the draw for the round of 16 of the 2026 Copa do Brasil Feminina on Monday, July 15. Sixteen teams will play single‑leg matches on July 22, with penalty shoot‑outs to decide ties. The fixtures include Corinthians vs Ferroviária, Flamengo vs Instituto 3B, Fluminense vs Cruzeiro, Botafogo vs Red Bull Bragantino, Vasco da Gama vs either São Paulo or Mauá, Coritiba vs Internacional, Itabirito vs Bahia, Atlético‑MG vs Atlético Piauiense, and others. Atlético Mineiro’s women’s team will face Atlético Piauiense, also in a single‑leg tie.
The competition, reinstated in 2025 after an eight‑year hiatus, expanded to 72 games in 2026. Prize money rises to R$ 1.1 million for the champion, R$ 550 k for the runner‑up, with lower‑round payouts ranging from R$ 120 k to R$ 200 k. Quarter‑finals will be played over two legs, with the draw for those matches to be conducted later by the CBF.
