Copa do Nordeste Sub-20: Teams advance to quarter-finals

Several teams have secured their places in the quarter-finals of the Copa do Nordeste Sub-20 following matches held on August 22, 2026.

Esporte Clube Bahia completed the first phase with a 100% success rate after defeating Esporte de Patos 3-1. Dell scored twice and Gerald added a third goal. Bahia is set to face CSA in a single-elimination quarter-final match.

Fortaleza finished at the top of Group A after a 3-1 victory over América de Natal, with goals from Pinna, Caio Wesley, and Juan Fidelis. CSA also advanced by defeating Atlético Piauiense 1-0. In Group C, Santa Cruz secured qualification with a 3-1 win against Liga de Miranda.

The quarter-final matchups include Fortaleza against Santa Cruz, Bahia against CSA, Náutico against the runner-up of Group B, and the winner of Group A against Estrela de Março.
