Copa Galicia basketball tournament returns to Santiago de Compostela

The 40th edition of the Copa Galicia senior men's basketball tournament is being held this weekend at the Multiusos Fontes do Sar in Santiago de Compostela. This marks the first time the event has returned to this venue since 2013.

For the first time in history, three of the four participating teams—Monbus Obradoiro, Río Breogán, and Leyma Coruña—will compete in the Liga Endesa this season. Club Ourense Baloncesto is the only participant remaining in the Primera FEB category.

The semifinal matchups include Leyma Coruña against Club Ourense Baloncesto on Saturday, followed by Monbus Obradoiro facing Río Breogán. The tournament final is scheduled for Sunday at 19:00.
