Copa Gramado Laghetto Sub-16 debuts at new Arena Gramadense

The 6th Copa Gramado Laghetto Sub-16 football tournament is taking place in Gramado, Brazil, from October 16 to 22. The competition features ten traditional Brazilian clubs and serves as a platform for young athletes to develop their careers.

The tournament marks the first major event to be held at the new Arena Gramadense. While the stadium will host the matches, it has not yet been officially inaugurated, as the club's management is using the competition as a test to evaluate the facility's structure and make final adjustments.

The official opening ceremony included the tournament ambassador, former player Andrés D’Alessandro, and Mayor Nestor Tissot. D’Alessandro emphasized the role of sports in creating opportunities for youth, noting that the competition brings together significant clubs from across the country.
