Copa Libertadores Femenina 2026 to be held in Quito, Ecuador

The 2026 CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores Femenina will take place in Quito, Ecuador, from October 15 to October 31. The tournament features 16 clubs from ten South American nations competing for the continental title.

Ecuadorian clubs Dragonas Independiente del Valle and Guerreras Albas will represent the host nation. Dragonas IDV, a three-time Superliga Femenina champion, will lead Group B, while Guerreras Albas makes its debut in the competition. Other major contenders include the defending champions, Corinthians of Brazil, alongside Palmeiras, Cruzeiro, and Colo-Colo.

Argentine club Belgrano is also set to participate in Group B. Ahead of their departure for Ecuador, Belgrano president Luifa Artime visited the team's training session at Villa Esquiú to offer encouragement. Belgrano's group stage schedule includes matches against Independiente del Valle, Palmeiras, and Universitario of Peru.
