Copa Logra sailing regatta celebrates 25th anniversary with record participation

The 25th anniversary of the Copa Logra sailing regatta took place at Marina Silcer in San Benito, achieving record participation with over 60 vessels and more than 180 crew members, including many children and youth.

This edition introduced the 'Fórmula Wave' category, a recreational alternative designed to increase inclusivity. In the Hobie Wave Advanced A category, Patricio Díaz and Claudina Díaz secured first place. Other winners included Rodrigo Gamboa and Mauricio Gamboa in Advanced B, Mercedes Castaldi and Paula Rosas in the Intermediate category, and the team of Mateo Ruiz Molina, Jerónimo Ruiz Molina, and Antonio Mantecon in the Beginners category.

In the debut Fórmula Wave category, Esteban Muñoz and Patricio Gallegos took first place. Gerardo Díaz Roche, president of Copa Logra, noted that sailing clinics and schools have been instrumental in preparing the younger generation for such competitions.
