Copa Peru 2026 secures VAOPE sponsorship as departmental phases near end

The Copa Peru 2026 tournament announced a new official partnership with ticketing firm VAOPE.com. VAOPE’s General and Marketing Manager Dany Tsukamoto said the company is committed to giving amateur football “more visibility, more opportunities and a partner to boost its growth.” LINFA President Roberto Ramos added that the return of an official sponsor marks a “historic moment” for the competition and will help recognize the effort of clubs across the country.

With departmental phases concluding, several regional champions have secured places in the upcoming National Stage. In Loreto, Atlético Nacional de Iquitos and CD UNAP qualified; in Amazonas, Club Deportivo Cultural Sachapuyos and Juan Pablo II Amazonas advanced; in Madre de Dios, Adevil FC and FC La Masía Naceya earned spots; and in Tacna, Vendaval Azul and Asociación Deportiva Virgen de la Natividad will contest the departmental final.

In the Cusco department, quarter‑final first‑leg matches saw Deportivo Huayruro defeat Atlético Palma Real 5‑0, AJI de Calca beat Juventus Estrellas Chila 2‑1, Vinicunca FC win 2‑0 over Independiente de Ollantaytambo, and Unión Porvenir edge Social Pacopata 2‑1. The return legs are scheduled for early August.
