Copa Truck 2026 inaugural night race in Cuiabá, Brazil

The 2026 season of Brazil's premier truck racing series will feature its first ever night event at the Autódromo Internacional de Mato Grosso in Cuiabá on July 31 and August 1, marking the circuit’s debut on the Copa Truck calendar.

Driver Beto Monteiro, currently fourth in the standings with 89 points, views the race as an opportunity to close the 15‑point gap to the championship leader. Monteiro previously won the series’ inaugural night race in 2025 and hopes the new track will boost his title chances.

All forty trucks will run on Be8’s BeVant® biobutanol fuel, a renewable diesel alternative that the company says can cut greenhouse‑gas emissions by up to 99 % without engine modifications. The fuel’s use in the championship serves as a high‑profile validation for broader adoption in heavy‑vehicle fleets.
