Coparmex Coahuila Sureste celebrates 90 years of business development

Coparmex Coahuila Sureste celebrated its 90th anniversary with a gala event in Saltillo, recognizing the organization's role in regional economic development. The event honored various companies, former presidents, educational institutions, and communicators for their contributions to the business sector.

The organization noted its historical roots with founding companies such as Cinsa, Molinos El Fénix, and Arca Continental, later joined by major entities like Tupy and General Motors. During the ceremony, awards were presented to members for their long-term participation, ranging from 10 to 50 years.

Additionally, the event highlighted the connection between the business sector and academia through the University-Enterprise Council, recognizing several institutions including the Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila and Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Saltillo. Alfredo López Villarreal was also sworn in for a second term leading the organization.
