COPARMEX pushes support for micro, small and medium enterprises in Mexico
Julián Niembro Rivera, president of the State of Mexico branch of the Confederación Patronal de la República Mexicana (COPARMEX), said that micro, small and medium enterprises (MiPyMEs) represent about 90 % of the economic units in the region and are the main engine of employment and productivity. He emphasized that formalizing these businesses gives them access to bank credit, government assistance programs, and tools to increase productivity, which in turn improves living standards.
COPARMEX is offering entrepreneurs a range of training and advisory services on topics such as relations with the Mexican Social Security Institute, tax administration, and access to development bank financing. Niembro urged small‑business owners to join the organization to benefit from workshops, courses and personalized support, while also reminding new entrepreneurs that building a successful venture requires patience and long‑term effort.
