Copec Rally Mobil returns to Aysén and Coyhaique regions

The Copec Rally Mobil is returning to the Aysén region for its sixth round of the season, scheduled to take place from Friday to Sunday. The event features timed stages in Coyhaique, which will host the assistance park, and a protocol start in Puerto Aysén.

The competition is expected to have a significant economic impact, with estimates suggesting a boost of over $1.25 billion CLP for the local economy through tourism and commerce. Regional Governor Marcelo Santana noted that the event serves as a high-impact sporting activity to promote the region both nationally and internationally. Last year, hotel occupancy in areas near the competition route reached 90%.

This return to the Chilean Patagonia follows a 12-year absence from the area. The event includes activities such as the Shakedown in the Ensenada sector starting Friday afternoon.
