Copel modernizes electrical grid in Marialva
Copel has launched a modernization project for the electrical grid in the central region of Marialva, in Northwest Paraná. The initiative involves installing an automatic recloser designed to serve over 10,000 residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
The project, which is expected to be completed in September, aims to increase system reliability and operational security. The new technology allows the system to respond automatically to momentary outages, restoring power more quickly and minimizing economic impacts. In addition to the equipment installation, Copel will conduct inspections of the local distribution network to identify further improvement opportunities.
