Copel presents election energy supply plan to TRE-PR president
Luciano Carrasco Falavinha Souza, president of the Regional Electoral Court of Paraná (TRE-PR), visited Copel’s Operations Center to review the company’s energy supply strategy for the upcoming elections on October 4. The visit aimed to ensure stable electricity for the 4,322 polling stations located throughout the state of Paraná.
Copel presented its Real-Time Operation System, which includes a dedicated area for monitoring energy distribution to voting sites. Copel President Daniel Slaviero stated that the company is prepared to maintain energy security despite potential challenges from extreme weather events and El Niño, ensuring a smooth process for the democratic vote.
