Copenhagen expands dining scene with new openings in Nordhavn and Kødbyen
New dining establishments are set to open in Copenhagen. Adam Aamann has confirmed that his restaurant, Aamanns, will open in Nordhavn at Århusgade 145 around mid-October. Despite the venue's smaller size and irregular angles, the team has designed the 175-square-meter space with Italian and Japanese inspiration, featuring Italian chandeliers and a dedicated takeaway entrance.
In the Kødbyen district of Vesterbro, a new restaurant and bar named Louche is opening at Slagtehusgade 22. Led by owners Rasmus Pors and Jens Junert, the concept focuses on an atmosphere of fire, smoke, and cocktails. The kitchen, headed by chef Andrew Clatworthy, utilizes global culinary influences with a focus on local ingredients, while the bar is managed by Kate Kamura.
