Copenhagen housing prices fall in select areas

While national housing prices in Denmark reached new records in September, certain areas within the Copenhagen metropolitan region are experiencing a plateau or decline. In Nordhavn, the average price per square meter fell by 3.73 percent, dropping from 109,786 DKK in April to 105,691 DKK in September. Frederiksberg C also saw a price decrease of 1.6 percent.

Real estate experts suggest these shifts indicate a move toward a more normal market. While interest in quality housing remains high, buyers are becoming more selective, and sellers must price properties more accurately from the outset.
